A biological hard tissue adhesive comprising a composition comprising: at least one liquid monomer (a); an organic peroxide (b); and a sulfite (c) having an average particle diameter of from 0.01 to 100 μm as a reducing agent, wherein the composition is dividedly packed as a first agent comprising said liquid monomer (a) and said organic peroxide (b) and a second agent comprising said at least one liquid monomer (a) and said sulfite (c) which is dispersed in the liquid monomer (a) of the second agent in the form of a solid, when the first agent and the second agent are in a mixed state so as to form a bulk composition, said sulfite (c) is dispersed in liquid monomer (a) in the form of a solid in the bulk composition, the reducing agent in the second agent consists of the sulfite (c), the composition does not contain water, and the composition does not contain: i) a polymeric monomer having at least one phosphoric acid group; or ii) a polymeric monomer represented by formula (I) where R1 is hydrogen or a methyl group, R2 is a (1+n)-valent group with a carbon number of 2 to 40, l is an integer of 1 to 5, m is 0 or 1, n is an integer of 1 to 4, —X— is —O— or —NH—, —Y— is —O— or —S—, and Z1, Z2 and Z3 are independently an oxygen atom or a sulfur atom.
