The present invention relates to a system and a method for providing a point accumulating/using service using a terminal device. The system comprises: a seller terminal device to receive price information on a purchased product to calculate a total amount for payment, transmit a cumulative point request signal including the total amount for payment to receive cumulative points according to the total amount for payment to a point management server, and generate and display a QR code for the cumulative points; the point management server to calculate cumulative points according to the total amount for payment if the cumulative point request signal is received from the seller terminal device, to transmit the calculated cumulative points to the seller terminal device, and to accumulate the cumulative points in total cumulative points corresponding to purchaser identification information if a point accumulation request signal including the cumulative points and the purchaser identification information is received from a purchaser terminal device; and the purchaser terminal device to recognize the QR code displayed in the seller terminal device through a QR code recognition application to display the cumulative points, and to transmit the point accumulation request signal to the point management server if a point accumulation command is inputted. |
