An apparatus for administration by infusion of radiopharmaceuticals to a patient, having a cartridge (1) for a radiopharmaceutical that has two perforable diaphragms (7, 8), a shielded container (22) containing the cartridge and having two openings (35, 36) in positions corresponding to the two diaphragms (7, 8), a frame (51) for supporting two bags of saline solution (54, 55) and the shielded container (22), a first tube (62) connected to one bag (55) and having a needle (63) to be inserted, through one of the two openings (35), into a first diaphragm (7) so as to supply saline solution (54) to the cartridge (1), a second tube (64) with a needle (65) to be inserted, through the other opening (36), into the other diaphragm (8) for supplying a flow of radiopharmaceutical (FR), a dual-inlet connector (66) connected to the second tube (64) and, via a third tube (61), to the other bag (54) for supplying a mixture (MX) of saline solution and radiopharmaceutical, and a drip chamber (59) connected to the outlet of the dual-inlet connector (66). |
