A device for restricting movement of a door includes a door member, a floor member, and a connecting member. The door member is fixedly mounted to a door and includes a first opening having a first predetermined shape. The floor member is fixedly mounted to a floor and includes a second opening having a second predetermined shape. The connecting member includes a first leg and a second leg. The first leg extends in a first direction and has a first end removeably engaging the first opening. The second leg extends in a second direction that is perpendicular to the first direction and has a second end removeably engaging the second opening simultaneously when the first end removeably engages the first opening thereby preventing rotation of the door.

1. A door security device for restricting movement of a door relative to a floor, the device comprising:
a first member defining a door plate configured to fixedly attach to the door, the door plate including a first opening defining a slot having a T-shape, the T-shape of the slot extending along a first longitudinal axis in a first direction that is perpendicular to the floor when the door plate is fixedly attached to the door; a second member defining a floor plate configured to fixedly attach to the floor, the floor plate including a second opening having a second longitudinal axis extending in the first direction when the floor plate is fixedly attached to the floor; and a connecting member defining a removeably interlocking member including a first leg and a second leg, the first leg extending along a third longitudinal axis in a second direction and having a first distal end and a first proximal end, the first distal end having a first mating feature with a T-shape configured to be removeably engaged mounted within the first opening of the door plate, the second leg extending along a fourth longitudinal axis in the first direction and having a second distal end and a second proximal end, the second distal end having a second mating feature configured to be removeably engaged within the second opening of the floor plate simultaneously while the first mating feature is removeably engaged within the first opening of the door plate, the second proximal end of the second leg being attached to the first proximal end of the first leg.
