<p>The present invention relates to a chair frame and an assembly method for tilting the backrest of a chair by utilizing the torsional elasticity of a torsion bar. The chair frame comprises: a leg frame to which legs of the chair is attached to both ends of an intermediate support pipe having a seat plate joint portion to be coupled with a seat plate of the chair; a torsion retainer in which a torsion bar and a retainer are coupled and which is fixed and inserted into the intermediate support pipe; and a back connecting rod by which a back connecting rod rotary shaft is supported and coupled for rotation in both ends of the intermediate support pipe and which is coupled to a torsion bar insertion hole having the torsion bar to be disposed in the center of a center axis of the back connecting rod rotary shaft simultaneously. The intermediate support pipe has a back connecting rod coupling groove which is formed by cutting a part of the pipe to be coupled with the rotary shaft of the back connecting rod on the both sides end; and a rotary shaft key which protrudes from the outside of the rotary shaft on a root portion of the rotary shaft. If the back connecting rod is coupled with the both ends of the intermediate support pipe, the back connecting rod reciprocates by a predetermined angle in the back connecting rod coupling groove.</p> |
