An embodiment of the present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for providing contents curation service in an electronic device. The method for providing contents curation service in an electronic device comprises the steps of: selecting a part of or whole contents; sensing the selected part or whole contents to be moved to a specific area on a screen; and storing the selected part or whole contents to a specific folder when movement of the selected part or whole contents to the specific area on the screen is sensed.
