<p>A steering device of a vehicle according to the invention, comprises: a bracket to which a steering column is connected to be moved; a fixing gear which is connected to a fixing bracket; a movable gear which is geared with or separated from the fixing gear; a movable gear case onto which the movable gear is mounted; an elastic member which is formed between the movable gear and the movable gear case and provides elastic force in a direction in which the movable gear is meshed with the fixing gear; and a guide bracket which connects the movable gear to the movable gear case. According to the invention, teeth engagement is prevented by being moved in a side direction toward the concave part of the fixing gear by the elastic force when the convex part of the movable gear comes in contact with the convex part of the fixing gear, by providing the elastic force in a direction in which the movable gear is geared with the fixing gear, by the elastic member formed between the movable gear and the movable gear case. The locking of a lever resulting from teeth engagement is prevented to facilitate a tilt operation.</p> |
