摘要 The purpose of the present invention is to provide negative electrode active material particles and a method for producing the same. Ti^3^+ and carbon are dually and uniformly coated on the surface of titanium dioxide nanoparticles, so electrical conductivity and ion conductivity are improved. Accordingly, the charging/discharging properties of lithium ions are excellent, and electrolyte can be easily penetrated through pores, so the nanoparticles have excellent electrochemical activities. Also, a micron-sized multilayered structure in which the nanoparticles are coupled to each other is formed, so the negative electrode active material particles have high energy density. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a negative electrode active material in a micron size is provided, wherein the titanium dioxide nanoparticles which are dually coated with Ti^3^+ and carbon are included in the material, and the titanium dioxide nanoparticles are couple to each other in a micron size so pores are formed.
