The present invention relates to a method for controlling the powertrain of a vehicle, which powertrain comprises a first electric drive device for driving of a first drive shaft and a second electric drive device for driving of a second drive shaft of the vehicle, comprising the step of via power electronics providing electricity supply of a first electric motor of the first electric drive device and a second electric motor of the second electric drive device, comprising the step of providing said electricity supply from a common power electronics which supplies said first and second electric motors with electricity, which motors hereby are connected in parallel.
