The present invention relates to sikhye (sweet rice drink) using Smilax china L. and a manufacturing method thereof, specifically where raw ingredients of sikhye are mixed with other ingredients such as Smilax china L. having efficacy in improving diuresis, treating gout, enteritis and chronic skin diseases, and discharging heavy metal like mercury, lead, cadmium, and nickel out from the body. The sikhye is manufactured by the steps of: naturally drying various ingredients like Smilax china L. as a main ingredient, boiling the same with water, and generating extracts from the same; injecting malt powder and manufacturing malt; mixing hard boiled rice manufactured by water used for boiling Smilax china L. with the malt and the extracts; and boiling the same again so as to make sikhye whose main ingredient is Smilax china L. In the present invention, sikhye, which is frequently found in daily life and to which the extract whose main ingredient is Smilax china L. is added when sikhye is manufactured, is provided to offer various efficacy of Smilax china L. such as the improvement of diuresis and the prevention of cancer and skin diseases which drinkers feel when taking sikhye regularly. |
