Provided is a transformer-less uninterruptible power supply using voltage-current control, which can perform a load test while minimizing energy consumed, prevent a sharp drop of a DC-link voltage, and which has a switching pattern capable of preventing a short circuit of a DC-link capacitor, and which includes a first converter controlling a voltage, and a second converter controlling a current to easily perform the load test. The transformer-less uninterruptible power supply using voltage-current control comprises: a first converter which converts an AC voltage of a common AC power source to a DC voltage; a DC-link capacitor which is connected to an output of the first converter in parallel; a battery which stores the DC voltage outputted from the first converter; a second converter which converts the DC voltage stored in the battery back to an AC voltage; a bypass switch which connects the common AC power source and an AC load end; and a converter controller which provides switching control signals to the first and second converters, wherein the converter controller controls an output voltage of the first converter and an output current of the second converter.
|
