<p>The present invention relates to a structure and a manufacturing method of an optical printed circuit board (O-PCB). According to the present invention, instead of an existing manufacturing method of an O-PCB in which an optical devices such as a laser diode (LD) and a photo detector (PD) are embedded in an O-PCB having a light waveguide and then the O-PCB is connected to an electric printed circuit board, all kinds of electric devices and an LD and a PD are embedded in an electric printed circuit board. Then, the electric printed circuit board is connected to an O-PCB having a light waveguide. A board integrated with a photo detector is aligned vertically to the O-PCB having the light waveguide in order to deliver an optical signal. Therefore, the manufacturing method of the O-PCB of the present invention is compatible with the existing manufacturing method of an electric printed circuit board, and enables mass production.</p> |
