The present invention relates to a safety door for a subway and a trap preventing device for the safety door, in which when a part of a human body or alien matters, such as clothes or hair, is trapped in an automatic door of the subway, the trapped object is easily extracted by an endless rubber of a caterpillar type positioned between the automatic door. The automatic door for the subway includes first and second doors moving in opposite directions to open or close an exit of the subway; first and second cases installed on each side of the first and second doors in a vertical direction; and a caterpillar rubber assembly having first and second endless rubbers fixed to the first and second cases and being brought into contact with each other in a state in which the first and second doors are closed, so that the first and second endless rubbers are rotated in an elliptical orbit to release the part of the human body or the alien matter. |
