Disclosed is an imaging device, comprising: an image sensor having multiple light receiving units for receiving light; a detection unit for detecting a dark voltage corresponding to a dark current generated in at least one of the light receiving units and a monitoring voltage corresponding to a difference in a predetermined reset voltage; and a control unit for resetting the image sensor if a size of the monitoring voltage detected by the detection unit is less than or equal to a size of a threshold voltage. Therefore, the imaging device is able to perform prompt and accurate division exposure, thereby minimizing problems caused by the dark current.
