<p>According to the present invention, an air conditioner is capable of minimizing power consumption in an air cleaner and maintaining pleasant indoor air by comprising: a case having an air inlet and an air outlet; a blower installed in the case; the air cleaner installed in the case; a cleanliness sensor sensing the cleanliness of air, which flows into the air inlet, at a predetermined cycle; and a control part turning on the air cleaner when a current value sensed by the cleanliness sensor is smaller than a latest value sensed by the cleanliness sensor during an initial predetermined time, and turning on the air cleaner when the current value sensed by the cleanliness sensor is smaller than a predetermined value after the initial predetermined time.</p> |
