One aspect of the present invention is to provide a heat-curable silicone resin composition having high transparency and capable of performing an optical function and an encapsulating function simultaneously. The heat-curable silicone resin composition comprises organopolysiloxane containing alkenyl groups; organopolyhydrogen siloxane; fumed silica; and platinum complex.
