Heat insulating plate comprises polystyrene particle foam which exhibits at least one athermanous material containing predominantly absorbing or predominantly remitting, preferably reflective properties with respect to infrared radiation. The polystyrene particle foam exhibits polystyrene particles that are doped with at least two different athermanous materials, where a first athermanous material is installed at the inner side and a second athermanous material is applied externally. An independent claim is also included for preparing the heat insulating plate, comprising (i) coating the polystyrene particles whose inner side is installed with the first athermanous material, with a second athermanous material and then prefoaming, where the coating with the second athermanous material is carried out even after the prefoaming, (ii) welding the polystyrene particles that are prefoamed and coated with a second athermanous material, under pressure and/or heat, to form a mold body, and (iii) separating the cured molded body by cutting. |
