The present invention relates to a video display structure and, more specifically, to a video display structure, in which light emitted from a light source of a first substrate and light emitted through a light guide plate of a second substrate are received to a video display device, and which is provided with a circuit board on a surface adjacent to the first substrate or the light guide plate of the second substrate, wherein the light source of the first substrate includes LED light sources and lenses provided in a light direction thereof to make greater a spread angle of light, evenly radiating light to the video display device, and the light source provided on a rear surface or side surfaces of the second substrate evenly radiates light to the video display device through the light guide plate. Generally, an optical system type of the first substrate is referred as to a direct type, and a direct backlight makes light the optical system, reduces costs, but makes thicker the optical system. An optical system type provided with the light guide plate of the second substrate is referred as to an edge type. While the edge type is thin, it is generally expensive. According to the present invention, a thin, lightweight, and inexpensive video display structure is provided by combining the advantages of the direct type and the edge type. In addition, a rear plate of the video display structure can be removed. |
