According to the present invention, a device and a method to detect tumor cells are allowed to detect tumor cells using the difference in size between tumor and non-tumor cells, where a filter is installed in the inner channel wall of the detection chips included in the detection device; thus the method and the device are not affected by the speed and amount of blood sample which goes through the channel.
