<p>The present invention relates to a method for predicting or diagnosing recurrent ovarian cancer. More specifically, the method includes the steps of: (a) measuring expression of miRNAs of a biological sample obtained from an ovarian cancer patient; (b) predicting or diagnosing recurrent ovarian cancer by analyzing the amount of miRNA expression. According to the method, the recurrent ovarian cancer is diagnosed by comparing miRNA expression of primary ovarian cancer and that of the recurrent ovarian cancer. More specifically, when i) one or more microRNAs selected from a group consisting of miR-630, miR-370, miR-575, miR-3692-5p, miR-4270, miR-548q, miR-135a-3p, miR-1207-5p, miR-4281, miR-671-5p, miR-638, miR-1225-5p, miR-196b-5p, miR-1915-3p, miR-483-5p and miR-3656 is up-regulated, or ii) one or more microRNAs selected from a group consisting of miRNA-509-3p, miRNA-514a-3p, miR-506-3p, miRNA-508-3p, miR-509-3-5p, miR-95, miR-30a-3p, miR-362-5p, miR-30b-5p, miR-30e-3p, miR-1271-5p, miR-3607-3p, miR-30c-5p, miR-182-5p, miR-17-5p and miR-509-5p are down-regulated, the sample is diagnosed as the recurrent ovarian cancer.</p> |
