The present invention relates to a production method of lithium iron phosphate with an olivine crystal structure, and the carbon-coated lithium iron phosphate with the olivine crystal structure including carbon produced by the method. The lithium iron phosphate with the olivine crystal structure produced by the production method of the present invention includes a carbon compound in the inside and has the surface coated with carbon, thereby offering high electric conductivity and rate properties to a secondary battery including the lithium iron phosphate.
