The present invention relates to an automatic standby power blocking socket capable of automatically blocking a load when the load is in a standby power state and, more specifically, to an automatic standby power blocking socket without the self-consumption of standby power in a manual mode which is capable of being used as a general socket (in other words, a socket without a standby power blocking function) by being switched to a manual mode when a controller blocking power malfunctions in case of standby power as the socket includes a mode switch to enable a user to select an automatic mode or manual mode and preventing the standby power form being consumed in the controller by blocking the power supplied to the controller in the manual mode. According to the present invention, the automatic standby power blocking socket without the self-consumption of standby power in the manual mode includes a blocking switch turning on and off an output line supplying power to the load; a controller turning off the blocking switch when the power consumed through the output line is in a standby power state; an automatic mode switch controlling power supply to the controller by turning on and off an input line into which external power is inputted; a manual mode switch connecting an input terminal of the input line with an output terminal of the output line; and a mode switch interlinking the on/off of the manual mode switch and the automatic mode switch by user manipulation. |
