The present invention relates to an olefin polymerization method comprising the activation of a catalyst including a transition metal compound and a prepolymerization process. According to the present invention, unstable process factors such as polymer coagulation and chunk generation can be mitigated and the activation of the catalyst can be improved in the process of polymerizing polyolefin using a single site catalyst.
