PIPE CUTTING DEVICE

The present invention relates to a pipe cutting device capable of cutting a pipe using a plasma torch. More specifically, the pipe cutting device includes: a base provided on the ground surface; a pipe fixating part provided on one top surface of the base to fixate the pipe by a chuck provided in an opposite direction, and to selectively rotate the chuck in a forward or reverse direction to rotate the pipe fixated to the chuck in the forward or reverse direction; a pipe support part mounted on a plurality of rails provided on the top surface of the base in a longitudinal direction to move lengthwise along the rails, and supports an opposite side of the pipe not fixated by the pipe fixating part; and a cutting machining part mounted on a transfer step part extending along one of a left and right lateral sides of the base to move in the longitudinal direction along the transfer step part while cutting the pipe fixated to the pipe fixating part. The plasma torch to cut the pipe is lifted upwards or downwards, moved forward or rearward, or rotated leftward or rightward about a central axis of the pipe or the lay-down angle of the plasma torch is adjusted, such that the pipe can be cut in a wave shape, a circular shape, and as well as a simple shape. In addition, the quality of the cutting process of the pipe can stably be maintained regardless of a worker′s skill and productivity can be improved. Accordingly, the pipe cutting device is provided to manufacture variously more produces when compared to a conventional technology since the range of products is diversified through the cutting process, such that the pipe cutting device can be used for a general purpose in various workplaces.
