<p>The method involves adjusting injection of pressurized fuel in a cylinder of a fuel system of a spark ignition engine of a vehicle by a cycle defined by an injection time and an injection phasing, to calibrate an injection ramp common to injectors by operating points of the engine. The injection phasing is modified in a random or periodic manner, by a controller, only when an engine speed, temperature of air surrounding the engine under a bonnet of the vehicle and water temperature are less than corresponding thresholds.</p> |
