<p>The present invention relates to a Korean cattle-specific protein marker for predicting fertility of Korean cattle and to a method for predicting fertility of Korean cattle using the same. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method for predicting fertility of Korean cattle by investigating expression sites and expression levels of Spermadhesin Z13 precursor and Chain A, BullSeminal Plasma PDC-109 Fibronectin Type II Module, which are seminal plasma proteins associated with the improvement of fertility. The use of the seminal plasma protein marker of the present invention can conveniently predict fertility of Korean cattle, and thus the protein marker of the present invention can be useful in the selection and improvement of breeding bulls with a high fertilization rate.</p> |
