<p>The device (10) has a body (15), a support opening (13) secured to a liquid container and a drain, and a liquid output port (12). The body is arranged with a chamber (19) for connecting the opening and the port. A piston (16) has a longitudinal axis (A), where the piston is able to be moved along its longitudinal axis. The piston is movable between one position in which the piston seals the opening, and another position in which the piston releases a liquid passage between the opening and the chamber to allow flowing of a liquid i.e. fuel, through the chamber towards the output port.
