The present invention relates to a master apparatus to set a network by itself by communicating with a plurality of slave devices connected through a process field bus. The present invention relates to a master apparatus of a PROFIBUS decentralized periphery (DP) comprising: a PROFIBUS communication module to communicate with the slave devices; a virtual network set information storage in which virtual network set information is previously stored; and a PROFIBUS master context machine to obtain network set information by communicating with the slave devices through the PROFIBUS communication module according to network set information set in the virtual network set information storage, to store the obtained network set information in the network set information storage, and to communicate with the slave devices according to the network set information stored in the network set information storage. |
