PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device with an operability enhanced touch panel.SOLUTION: An operation device comprises: a touch panel 101; a coordinate information generating unit 116 that has a plurality of coordinate generating modes including a first coordinate generating mode; an accepting unit 116B that accepts particular operation to switch from a coordinate generating mode to other coordinate generating mode among the plurality of coordinate generating modes; and a communication interface 110 that outputs coordinate information generated by the coordinate information generating unit 116. The coordinate information generating unit 116 generates two-dimensional coordinates on a plane of a touch position on a surface of the touch panel 101 and height information (Z) in a perpendicular direction to the surface of the touch panel 101 according to a coordinate generating mode. |
