PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a roof from being damaged and to reduce equipment cost in a safety device for roof work using a main rope.SOLUTION: At least two knots 11 are provided spaced apart from each other in the lengthwise direction of a rope part 10b in the free side rope part 10b of a main rope 10 stretched so as to traverse a ridge 2 of a roof 1. A synthetic-fiber-made connection belt 20 is attached to the rope part 10b between the two knots 11 in a two-folded state, and a hook 52 or carabiner at the tip of a lanyard 51 connected to a safety belt 50 for high place work is detachably engaged with a pair of ring bodies 30 provided at both ends of the connection belt 20 and the connection belt 20 is kept in the two-folded state in which the knot 11 cannot pass through the connection belt 20, thus securing the safety. |
