摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing sintered ore which suppresses the emission rate of carbon dioxide by using PKS charcoal as a solid carbonaceous material for sintering and improves sintering productivity.SOLUTION: A method of producing sintered ore comprises segregation-charging pseudo-grains obtained by granulating a sintering raw material into a pallet of a sintering machine and baking while forming a carbon concentration difference in the height direction of the raw material layer. In blending PKS (Palm Kernel Shell) charcoal consisting of a solid carbonized product produced by heat-treating PKS as a part or the whole of the solid carbonaceous material in the sintering raw material, PKS charcoal with the average grain size adjusted to 2.7-6.0 mm is blended. The average grain size of PKS charcoal to be blended may be adjusted so as to be coarser, by 1.0-4.5 mm, than the average grain size of powdered coke or smokeless coal constituting the solid carbonaceous material.
