PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device capable of reducing the occurrence of a camera shake.SOLUTION: A self-imaging device comprises: a touch panel that receives an instruction inputted by a touch operation in which a user performs an operation by bringing a finger into contact with a screen; a touch operation detection unit that detects the touch operation inputted through the touch panel; an image capturing unit that is disposed on the front surface of the self-imaging device and captures an image of the user; and an imaging control unit that controls the image capturing unit to capture an image of the user when the touch operation detection unit detects, as the touch operation, a flick operation in which the user moves a finger with the finger kept in contact with the screen of the touch panel and thereafter moves the finger off the screen.
