PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector that can reduce the friction resistance when a male terminal is inserted into a female terminal, whereby an insertion load can be reduced and the friction at a contact point portion can be reduced.SOLUTION: A male terminal 220 comprises a coil spring 221 whose diameter is reduced to be smaller than the inner diameter of a cylindrical terminal main body 121 of a female terminal 120 when it is stretched, and increased to be larger than the inner diameter of the terminal main body when it is restored to a free state. The coil spring is inserted in the terminal main body of the female terminal under the stretched state, and restored to the free state after the insertion, whereby the outer periphery of the coil spring comes into contact with the inner periphery of the terminal main body under pressure. A second connector 200 in which the male terminal 220 is accommodated is equipped with a tension rod 240 which applies operation force in a tension direction to the coil spring to set the coil spring to the stretched state and releases the operation force so that the coil spring is allowed to be restored to the free state. |
