摘要 Provided is a fundus photographing device which is capable of high speed scanning of the fundus of the eye while being made smaller and lighter. This fundus photographing device comprises: an illumination light source unit (101) which generates an illumination light flux (PA) that illuminates the fundus (Er) of a subject's eye (E); a scanning optical system (103) which converts the illumination light flux (PA) from the illumination light source unit (101) into a spot light and scans the fundus with the spot light in a two-dimensional direction of the horizontal direction and vertical direction; a light receiving unit (102) which receives reflected light from a fundus site illuminated spotwise by the spot light; and a fundus image construction unit (123) which constructs a fundus image on the basis of the received light signal from the light receiving unit. The scanning optical system (103) is provided with a scanner (104) which has a reflection mirror plate (501B) that is capable of swinging about two axes that are orthogonal to each other to perform scanning by deflecting the spot light in the vertical direction and horizontal direction simultaneously.
