PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-junction solar cell composed of a silicon solar cell and a solar cell made of a group III-V compound semiconductor excluding As capable of obtaining high photoelectric conversion efficiency.SOLUTION: The multi-junction solar cell at least includes a first solar cell 131 to be a bottom cell and a second solar cell 132 to be a top cell. The second solar cell 132 includes a base layer 107 composed of a p-type InGaPSb and an emitter layer 108 composed of an n-type InGaPSb as a light absorption layer.
