<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple, flexibly-usable processing apparatus and method for processing a workpiece surface.SOLUTION: The invention relates to a processing apparatus for processing a workpiece surface 10a, in particular for internal coating of cylinder bores 11a, 12a, 13a. The processing apparatus is equipped with shielding units 14a each of which is provided for separating a partial region 15a of the workpiece surface 10a to be processed and an adjacently-disposed partial region 16a of the workpiece surface 10a from each other. The shielding unit 14a comprises at least one shut-off nozzle 18a, 19a which is provided to generate a flow of fluid 20a, 21a for separating at least the two partial regions 15a, 16a. The invention also relates to a method for processing the workpiece surface 10a.</p> |
