<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging material capable of achieving reduction in a used amount of the packaging material and improvement in loading and storage efficiency by reducing as much as possible a volume of the packaging material necessary for a packaging target article having different right-left sizes in a front-back direction.SOLUTION: A packaging material comprises: upper and lower packaging members covering a packaging target article for which a right-left size of one of front and back sides with respect to a center in a front-back direction is larger than that of the other side; and a binding member binding together the upper packaging member and the lower packaging member. Each of the upper packaging member and the lower packaging member includes: a bottom surface of a quadrilateral shape having respective sides arranged relative to front-back and right-left sides of the packaging target article; and a vertical wall surface connected to the bottom surface via the respective sides and built upright with respect to the bottom surface. A right-left size of the sides of the bottom surface relative to one of the front and back sides with respect to the center in the front-back direction of the packaging target article is larger than that of the sides of the bottom surface relative to the other side and equal to or larger than the right-left size of one of the front and back sides with respect to the center in the front-back direction of the packaging target article.</p> |
