Process for preparing polypropylene films comprising the following steps: a) providing a polypropylene composition (PP-C) comprising: i) at least 90 wt. %, based on the total weight of the polypropylene composition (PP-C), of a polypropylene (PP) having a melt flow rate according to ISO 1133 (230° C./2.16 kg) in the range of 0.1 g/10 min to 30 g/10 min and a comonomer content of up to 20 wt. %, based on the total weight of the polypropylene (PP), the comonomers are selected from ethylene and/or C4- to C12 α-olefin, andii) between 1 wt. % and 10 wt. %, based on the total weight of the polypropylene composition (PP-C), of a polypropylene (H-PP) having a melt flow rate according to ISO 1133 (230° C./2.16 kg) of at least 250 g/10 min and a comonomer content of up to 5 wt. %, based on the total weight of the polypropylene (H-PP), the comonomers are selected from ethylene and/or C4- to C12 α-olefin; and b) extruding the polypropylene composition (PP-C) of step a) to form a polypropylene film.
