发明名称 INCREASED THERMAL STREMGTH POLYMER PROPPANT AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME
摘要 The present polymer proppant with increased thermal resistance and method for producing same relate to oil and gas production techniques which use materials made from high-molecular weight compounds, and more particularly to proppants made from polymer materials that fulfill high requirements with respect to the physical and mechanical properties thereof, which can be used as propping granules in the production of oil and gas by hydraulic fracturing. The proppant is made from a metathesis-radically cross-linked mixture of oligocyclopentadienes and methylcarboxy norbornene esters. The proppant is in the form of microspheres with a roundness and sphericity of at least 0.9 for at least 80% by weight, the average size of said microspheres being in a range of 0.25-1.1 mm and the bulk density being in a range of 0.5-0.7 g/cm3. The technical result is an increase in the thermal resistance of the proppant material, providing a compressive strength of at least 150 MPa at a temperature of not less than 100°C.
