摘要 The present proppant material and method for producing same relate to the chemistry of high-molecular weight compounds, and more particularly to polymer materials that fulfill high requirements with respect to the physical and mechanical properties thereof, in particular for the production of proppants (propping granules) which can be used in the extraction of oil and gas by hydraulic fracturing. The technical result of the present invention is an increase in the thermal resistance of the proppant material, providing a compressive strength of at least 150 MPa at a temperature of not less than 100°C. The method consists in the following. A mixture of oligocyclopentadienes is produced by heating dicyclopentadiene (DCPD) to a temperature of 150-220°C and holding at said temperature for 15-360 minutes. The oligomerization of the dicyclopentadiene occurs. The oligomer mixture is cooled to 20-50°?, and polymer stabilizers, radical initiators, methacrylates and a catalyst are successively added thereto. The resultant polymer matrix is heated to a temperature of 50-340°?, held at said temperature for 1-360 minutes and then cooled to room temperature. Metathesis (MP) and radical (RP) cross-linking of a mixture of oligocyclopentadienes and methacrylatic esters occurs.
