METHOD FOR EVALUATING TEXTURE OF BARE SKIN OR MAKEUP SKIN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quantitatively evaluate visual texture of a bare skin or a makeup skin using an optical index value and, more particularly, to appropriately classify nonuniformity of the bare skin and the makeup skin and quantitatively evaluate the texture generated from relationship of each classified sub-nonuniformity.SOLUTION: The evaluation method of the texture of the bare skin or the makeup skin includes the steps of: (a) acquiring a captured image of the bare skin or the makeup skin; (b) acquiring components in each spatial frequency band of the captured image; (c) classifying the components in each spatial frequency band into at least of four or more sub-bands; (d) acquiring an index value of variation for each of the plurality of sub-bands; (e) acquiring an index value of the texture generated from a relationship of the variation of the plurality of sub-bands; and (f) evaluating the texture of the bare skin or the makeup skin on the basis of the index value of the texture.
