<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel sheet take-up facility and take-up method capable of inhibiting break of a steel sheet due to slip generating immediately after start of taking up the sheet.SOLUTION: A steel sheet take-up facility 10 is provided with a tension reel 2, a rotation mechanism 4 for rotating the tension reel 2, and a control part 6 for controlling the rotation speed of the reel 2 whose upper limit is previously set up. When a slip generates between the steel sheet 1 and a mandrel 3 while the tension of the sheet 1 stabilizes after winding the top of the sheet 1, the control part 6 make the upper limit effective and suppresses the rotation speed of the reel 2 to the upper limit. While the grip of the sheet 1 is restored and the tension thereof stabilizes, the rotation speed of the reel 2 is maintained to the upper limit. The upper limit is made to be the magnitude at which the tension imparted to the sheet 1 when the grip of the sheet 1 is restored does not break the sheet 1.</p> |
