PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To update a graphic user interface.SOLUTION: A data source value is concatenated to a parameter associated with a graphic user interface, a data change notification associated with the parameter is provided to a resource manager, and a method associated with the graphic user interface is called through the resource manager to the graphic user interface in order to update the graphic user interface to be reflected with a data change corresponding to the change notification. The data source value and the graphic user interface may also be associated with a process control system.
