<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of gloss unevenness on the first surface of a recording material, the fixation of toner to a guide part, and the occurrence of image scratching, when the recording material passes through a cooling device in both side printing.SOLUTION: In an image forming apparatus 200 including a fixing device 8, a cooling device 9, and the guide part in order in the conveyance direction of the recording material, the guide part guides the recording material P after passing through the cooling device to reverse paths 26 and 29 or a paper discharge part 20, the fixing device 8 includes a fixing member 17 including a heat source and a pressure member 18 coming into contact with the fixing member, to form a fixing nip and fixes an unfixed image on the recording material in the fixing nip, and the cooling device 9 includes first cooling parts 33a and 71a arranged on the side of the pressure member, second cooling parts 33b and 71b arranged on the side of the fixing member, and third cooling parts 33c and 71c arranged on the side of the pressure member in order in the conveyance direction of the recording material.</p> |
