<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trap for capturing a small animal for capturing a small animal safely, reliably and effectively without harming it, which is light weight and can be easily set.SOLUTION: A body of a trap 1 for capturing a small animal for attracting a small animal by a bait and capturing it is composed of three members of a middle cylinder 4 made of a transparent material, a cylindrical front cap 2, and a cylindrical rear cap 3 fitted to the front part and the rear part of the middle cylinder 4 respectively. The front cap 2 is provided with a hole 5 into which the small animal can put its hand in the center part of the end wall 2a, and an appropriate number of openable/closable arms 40 capable of grasping the small animal's arm are provided around the hole 5 on the inner side surface of the end wall 2a. Two ends of a first string that hangs the trap 1 are tied to a front part and a rear part of the body respectively. A second string for tying the trap 1 to a fixed object such as a trunk of a tree is tied to the rear part of the body so that the captured small animal does not escape with the trap 1.</p> |
