<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a change of a vehicle behavior, and to control a drive output according to the vehicle behavior, in a vehicle which cannot determine the vehicle behavior from a rotation speed difference between front wheels and rear wheels.SOLUTION: A vehicle control device comprises: a vehicle speed/inclination detection part which is attached in front of a vehicle in a forward direction so as to be parallel with a grounding face of the vehicle, and transmits an electromagnetic wave toward a front and a rear of the vehicle in the forward direction, receives the electromagnetic wave, detects a vehicle speed of the vehicle on the basis of the deviation of a frequency of the received electromagnetic wave with respect to the transmitted electromagnetic wave, and detects an inclination angle of the vehicle with respect to the grounding face on the basis of a difference of distances from the respective front and rear transmitted and received electromagnetic waves up to the calculated grounding face; a vehicle behavior determination part which determines a behavior of the vehicle on the basis of the vehicle speed and the inclination angle of the vehicle detected at the vehicle speed/inclination detection part; and a drive output suppression part which controls a drive output of a drive source of the vehicle on the basis of the behavior of the vehicle which is determined at the vehicle behavior determination part.</p> |
