A solar cell includes: a substrate having heat dissipating characteristics; a solar cell bonded to the substrate such that the solar cell is electrically connected on a first conductive line and a second conductive line, which are disposed on a surface of the substrate; a lens, which is bonded to a transparent electrode of the solar cell; a plurality of projections, which maintain a gap between the substrate and the lens; tapered hole sections in the substrate, each of said tapered hole sections having a tapered section of each of the protruding sections fitted therein; and a sealing resin applied to the gap. |

1. A solar cell battery comprising:
a substrate including a tabular base having heat dissipation property, a first conductive line and a second conductive line, the first conductive line and the second conductive line provided on the base; a multijunction solar cell including a first electrode electrically connected to the first conductive line; a bottom cell layer provided on the first electrode; a top cell layer provided on the bottom cell layer; a transparent electrode provided on the top cell layer; an insulating layer provided on a side surface of a cell laminate including the bottom cell layer and the top cell layer; and a second electrode provided on a side surface of the cell laminate through the insulating layer and is electrically connected to the transparent electrode and the second conductive line; and a lens provided in close contact with the transparent electrode, the lens configured to concentrate incident light toward the transparent electrode, wherein the lens further includes a pillar projecting from a surface of the lens opposite to a light incident surface of the lens, and a tapered part provided at a tip of the pillar, wherein the substrate further includes a tapered hole into which the tapered part is fitted. |
