The present invention relates to cyclic acetals or ketals of the formula (I) and use thereof as fragrance. In another aspect, the present invention relates to compositions and fragrance mixtures containing compounds of the formula (I) and to the products perfumed with said compositions and fragrance mixtures. The present invention further relates to a method for strengthening an odour or a number of odours selected from the group consisting of fruity, flowery, spicy, woody, musk and ambergris, and a method for providing, to hair or to textile fibres, one or more, or all, of the notes selected from the group consisting of fruity, flowery, spicy, woody, musk and ambergris, with use of one or more of the compounds of the formula (I). |
