摘要 If the state of charge of a temporary battery (22) exceeds a prescribed state of charge, a solar ECU (31) in a charging controller (30) works in concert with a solar charger (23) in a power supply unit (20) to perform "pump charging", in which power that had been temporarily stored in the temporary battery (22) is extracted, increased in voltage, and pumped into a primary electricity-storage device so as to charge same. While the solar ECU (31) is performing said pump charging, if a vehicle-mounted solar cell (21) is generating no more than a prescribed amount of power, the solar charger (23) in the power supply unit (20) supplies the power being generated by the vehicle-mounted solar cell (21) to the solar ECU (31), but if the vehicle-mounted solar cell (21) is generating more than the aforementioned prescribed amount of power, the solar charger (23) supplies the power being generated by the vehicle-mounted solar cell (21) to both the solar ECU (31) and a main battery (18). As such, even in situations in which the abovementioned pump charging is performed, the power being generated by the vehicle-mounted solar cell (21) on a continuing basis can be utilized effectively instead of being wasted.
