The present invention relates to a content providing method and a system thereof. The present invention includes the steps of: obtaining the location information of a user terminal by a content providing server; calculating a distance between the user terminal and a content using the location information of the user terminal and the location information of one or more pieces of content and extracting the content with the calculated distance within a preset distance as the content to be supplied to the user terminal; and transmitting the extracted content to the user terminal. According to the present invention, the distance between the user terminal and the content is calculated by using the location information of the user terminal and the location information of one or more contents and supplies only the content within the preset distance by the calculated distance to the user.
